Progress to Date

The negotiating parties developed Indigenous Land Use Agreement templates related to minerals exploration, pastoral land use, fishing and aquaculture and local government that help to guide negotiations so that they may progress efficiently and effectively.

Individual ILUAs are usually subject to confidentiality clauses that mean they cannot be released without the consent of all signatories to them. If you wish to see the terms of a particular ILUA contact the signing parties. In addition a number of other agreements have been finalised including many dealing with co-management of national or conservation parks.
