SA ILUA Statewide Negotiations

The South Australian Native Title Resolution process includes representatives from:

Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (ALRM), the recognised Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Representative Body under the Native Title Act for representing native title claimants in South Australia;
South Australian Farmers Federation (SAFF) representing the interests of pastoralists and farmers;
South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy (SACOME) representing the interests of the resources (mining and petroleum) industry;
Seafood Council (SA) Ltd representing the interests of seafood industry;
South Australian Fishing Industry Council (SAFIC) representing the interests of the fishing industry;
Local Government Association of South Australia (LGA) representing the interests of councils; and
State Government of South Australia.

All levels of government are involved in the statewide Native Title Resolution process. The Federal Government contributes to funding the process so that the cost is not solely borne by the State or the collaborating parties.
